Korean Hip-Hop and R&B – August

Hello, dear readers! I hope everyone is enjoying the many K-pop concerts that have been happening these past months. This month it’s all about KCON LA for me and I hope to see many ATK Magazine followers there. I’ve been binge listening to Millic’s new album Vida and have decided to share my favorite track for song of the month. Also, there are a ton of concerts coming up next month so make sure to check out the list below and decide which one you’re headed to.

Song of the Month:

This month’s song of the month belongs to Millic. If you don’t know who he is, pull up a chair and have a seat. Millic is a producer from Korea who is part of the group Club Eskimo (you’ve heard of them right?). He released a full-length album called Vida on July 10.  The title song of the album is called “Paradise” and features other members of Club Eskimo, Dean, Penomeco, Crush, and Zico.

The song has a smooth R&B style that you can also hear throughout the album. Since Millic neither raps nor sings on the album, it’s full of features from artists all over the world.
