The second mini article promoting Korean musicians who are crowdfunding their upcoming albums or EPs is all about Love X Stereo, an electro-rock duo from Seoul.

Love X Stereo

Love X Stereo are another group I regularly listen to and they are in the middle of a fundraising campaign for their We Love We Leave: Pt. 2 EP on the music platform Pledge Music. I’ve seen them perform a few times and they are one of those bands that’s just fun to see. If you’re able to, check them out this March at South by Southwest (SXSW) in Austin, Texas or in May at Canadian Music Week (CMW) in Toronto, Canada.

Not familiar with Love X Stereo

They are an electro-rock band based in Seoul, Korea with a ton of crossover appeal. Lead singer Annie Ko’s voice will grab your attention and not let go. Just give them a listen and you’ll be hooked. You can catch Love X Stereo on Soundcloud, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and iTunes. Or you could simply check out the MV below as it was definitely one of my favourite songs of 2015.

Want to support Love X Stereo

You know you want to! Just head over to Pledge Music and choose your joy – there’s everything from pins to vinyl. Yes, vinyl! And yes, that’s what I chose because how often can you get great Korean music on vinyl. But there are so many cool ways you can support Love X Stereo’s campaign so please check it out.

Live life to the fullest everyday – this is a the philosophy I try to live by and it’s taken me on many adventures. I write about Korean culture from a non-Korean perspective as the editor/founder of ATK Magazine and I’m the Chair of the Board of Directors of the Toronto Korean Film Festival (TKFF). Previously, I ran a Korean-English language exchange group (in Toronto) for 3 years to stay connected to my three years living in Korea as an English teacher. I love music, film, food and sports and write about 3 of the 4.

We want to hear what you think!
